November 15 with 26 horses. In
alphabetical order they are: Anak
Nakal, Arson Squad, Bribon (FR), Chatain,
Commentator, Da' Tara, Fabulous Strike,
Forefathers, Greeley's Conquest, Harlem
Rocker, Into Mischief, Kodiak Kowboy,
Lieutenant Ron, Lucky Island (ARG),
Marchfield, Maven, Monterey Jazz, Mr.
Umphrey, Past the Point, Sir Whimsey, Storm
Play, Take of Ekati, Timber Reserve, Unity,
Visionaire, and Wanderin Boy.

Harlem Rocker
finishes third on the sloppy Belmont track.
In his first
outing over a sloppy track, Harlem Rocker earned the
show position behind Tale of Ekati and You and I
Forever. Out of the gate somewhat slowly, he
advanced to the outside of the pack in his usual running
style, and improved his position for jockey Eibar Coa.

Past news: Jerome Handicap
Harlem Rocker will run in the Jerome
Handicap.
Nominations for the October 5 Grade 2 race to be
run at 1 mile over the dirt track at Belmont Park closed on
September 20. 25 horses were nominated
to the Jerome.
Entries closed on October 3 with a field of
seven colts. High weight has been
assigned to Da' Tara at 122 pounds, followed
by Visionaire at 120, Tale of Ekati at 119,
Harlem Rocker with 118, Cool Coal Man
carrying 117, and 115 assigned to You and I
Forever and Z Humor. Da' Tara has also
been entered in the 10/3 Meadowlands Cup,
but a decision by trainer Nick Zito will put
Da' Tara in the gate at Belmont as half of a
coupled entry with Cool Coal Man.

Harlem Rocker was also nominated for the G2
Indiana Derby at Hoosier Park at the distance of 1 1/16
mile but was not entered.
